Our story
A modern answer to an old problem
Finding available counsel has always meant phone calls, directories and guesswork. Clerked was founded in 2025 by Jack Trowsdale and Sean Gibson to fix that — connecting solicitors to barristers in real time, with availability drawn straight from the calendar. We augment the clerk's role; we never replace it. The clerk still confirms availability and agrees the fee, exactly as they always have.
